Financial Management Solutions (FMS) Senior Manager

Position Location: Dallas, TX

The Job at a Glance

As an Animato Senior Manager you will be part of an elite group. Reporting to the FMS Managing Director, you will help lead the FMS Practice by working to define, develop and deliver the group’s strategic and tactical offerings.  Additionally, you will be responsible for the operational management of the practice’s Strategic Solutions Set offerings. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of all elements of service delivery and effectiveness through the leveraging of best practices, process improvement, technology, metrics, insourcing/outsourcing solutions and the delivery of accurate and timely information that improves business decisions. This position offers incredible exposure to Oracle e-Business/PeopleSoft technologies and best practices.

Overview of Position Functions

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide thought leadership for the development, design and delivery of FMS consulting service offerings.
  • Work with Animato leadership to design and deliver Strategic Solutions Set offerings.
  • Anticipate business and practice challenges and recommend creative solutions.
  • Manage engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting. Participate in defining deliverables content and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at client organizations.
  • Apply best practices and a detailed understanding of ERP products to analyze utilization of existing ERP systems and to design total solutions for clients.
  • Lead audience analysis and change readiness assessments.
  • Develop and execute communications strategies and project deliverables.
  • Lead and/or manage multiple engagement teams; providing strong mentoring to build team members’ competencies and skills.
  • Focus on continuous growth of skills to maintain high marketability and credibility with clients, partners, and co-workers.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the position of FMS Senior Manager must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience is required. MBA highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years in professional services consulting is required, which includes project management of significant enterprise-wide initiatives. This experience should include a strong understanding of all areas of financial business processes and ERP systems to enable FMS strategies.
  • Oracle e-Business and/or PeopleSoft experience is required.
  • Business process re-engineering experience is required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience is required including but not limited to; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MBA and Big 4/regional consulting experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining relationships with C-level decision makers at key clients.
  • Participation in proposal development processes.
  • PMP is highly preferred and upon employment, required.
